Image Browser Arctic is a graphic viewer for Windows. If you are using Windows explorer, Image Browser Arctic has a tool called DirectImage which automatically detects the different types of images that appear, and shows them to you in thumbnail. You can click on any of them to see them full size.

With Image Browser Arctic you can view your images quickly and easily, full-screen, thumbnail or normal. You can create a slideshow, changing to the next image by clicking on the mouse or with a timer, and you can add different transition effects. You can also encrypt them with a 128-bit key so no-one has access but you.

If you are surfing the web and you only want to see the images on a webpage, with Image Browser Arctic you can see them correctly and save time. You can also scan and detect all types of images with a modified extension, or any other that Windows doesn´t recognize as a format, and view it as if it were a JPG extension, or any other image format. You can also change the extension of the image to one of the following formats: BMP, JPG, JP2, ICO, TIF, TGA, PCX, PNG, GIF, or grey scale. If you have an image in a format you can convert it to JPG then compress it to occupy les space, for example a file in BMP of 2MB will become a JPG of 60KB. Normally the image quality isn´t altered.
